I Just Won $600,000

This is awesome. I just won $600,000 from Heineken.

I am so excited about this I have decided to keep the world informed of my progress via blog.

Below I've included the first email I got from Heineken about my winnings. Just a couple things I find cool about this.

1. Apparently Heineken doesn't spell check, nor follow any accepted rules of grammar, such as those that outline when to capitalize letters. It's refreshing to see a multinational corporation let accepted rules of communication slide, just like normal people!

2. This email appears to be from 3 unique individuals: Anthonie Van Duckerweg, Reverend Anthoni Mark, and Mr. David Mark. I am very confused by this, but hey, it is Heineken & it is $600,000 so I'm not too concerned.

3. Reverend Anthoni Mark, apparently a man of the cloth (an assumption I'm making based only on the title "Reverend", but an assumption which I'm certain must be true), is my claims agent. I'm glad to see the church has relaxed their status on vices and are now apparently loaning out their leaders to work for a lottery run by a beer company.

4. Apparently this Heineken lottery (which I don't remember entering, but again, it is $600,000 so I'm cool with that) is based out of Africa, where Heineken has set up an Overseas Claims/African Payment Unit. I truly wish other multi-nationals would look to the fine example set by Heineken in their ongoing efforts to stabilize the economy and offer the opportunities to improve their lives to the fine people of Nigeria.

I will heep everyone posted on my progress! Hooray for me!!
